Blue Eye – Sarande

In the morning visit the Castle of Gjirokaster. Built by Albanian Ali Pasha during Ottoman Empire above, this medieval fortress is one of the largest in the Balkans. It offers great views of Drino valley and an impressive weapon museum of WWII.

Next drive to Blue Eye cold water spring for a calm walk in the beautiful nature of Muzina mountain. Head to the coastal city of Sarande for lunch and free time by the beach. Dinner in a local restaurant.
